Richman will play host on "Food Fighters," a show that pits home cooks against professional chefs for a chance to win $100,000. The show will premiere on NBC on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
The Travel Channel announced it was postponing Richman's "Man Finds Food" after Richman got into an Instagram brawl over the use of the hashtag #Thinspiration. In late June, Richman, who had lost weight on a diet, posted a photo of himself on the photo sharing application, using #Thinspiration in his caption.
XOJane.com writer Amber Sarah wrote about Richman's use of the hashtag and how it is used in pro-anorexia and pro-bulimea circles. Richman responded to comments on Instagram using expletives, and according to the Washington Post, in one comment, wrote "Grab a razor blade and draw a bath. I doubt anyone will miss you."
There is still no word on when or if the Travel Channel show will eventually premiere.

Richman was recently asked by the Miami Herald about handling things in the spotlight. He didn't mention the Instagram incident specifically, but he did thank his fans, and offer up a baseball analogy for his rise to fame.
