Texas shooting: In the May 4 Section A, an article about the shooting attack in Garland, Texas, that left the two gunmen dead said that plans to build a New York mosque about two blocks from the World Trade Center site had been scrapped amid a protest. In fact, the mosque opened in 2011 to little fanfare and no controversy.

Healthful eating: In the May 2 Saturday section, an article about efforts to encourage people to eat more fruits and vegetables said the FNV campaign had signed up spokespeople including actress Kristen Stewart. It is actress Kristen Bell who will help promote FNV.
