Architecture firm Gensler demolished the core of a granite-clad 1970s building in downtown Los Angeles, transforming it into an example of a futuristic workspace and a showcase for the firm's work. It built an interior staircase under a new skylight, suspended a new mezzanine, and added a built-in amphitheater.
