To the editor: The author seems to ignore the data that many Muslims never accept the open and diverse societies into which they immigrate. (“Europe’s moral panic,” Opinion, Oct. 13)

The creation of mini-Sharia states and insistence on special dispensations under the law, coupled with murdering journalists for blasphemy, should give advocates of mass immigration some pause for reflection.

Societies have a right to protect their cultures and traditions.
