210 Freeway reopens after crash involving LAPD vehicle shuts down 2 lanes

The 210 Freeway was reopened after a multi-vehicle crash involving an LAPD patrol car shut down two lanes late Tuesday near Glendale

The crash occurred just before 11 p.m. on the eastbound freeway just east of Lowell Avenue, according to Officer Francisco Villalobos of the California Highway Patrol.

Preliminary reports indicated up to five vehicles were involved, including the LAPD patrol car, Villalobos said.

A Sig Alert was issued at 11:10 p.m. Traffic was slow from La Tuna Canyon Road.

It was unclear if anyone was injured in the crash. The cause is under investigation.
