LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Times today announced it will feature 12-18 movies in its 2011-2012 film award season-focused Envelope Screening Series, fittingly the largest ever as the Series celebrates its fifth anniversary. Beginning tonight at its new home at ArcLight Cinemas Sherman Oaks, The Envelope's editorial staff will once again moderate post-screening discussions with some of cinema's brightest stars and acclaimed filmmakers for an exclusive audience of guild and Academy voters.

Sponsored by Land Rover, the Envelope Screening Series schedule kicks off with "Martha Marcy May Marlene," "Another Happy Day," "The Descendants, " "The Help," "Carnage," "Shame" and "A Dangerous Method" with additional titles and luminaries to be added throughout the rest of the year. RSVP at ticketing sponsor Eventbrite.

Additionally, the line-up for the 2nd annual Los Angeles Times Young Hollywood Roundtable has been confirmed with Kirsten Dunst ("Melancholia"), Armie Hammer ("J. Edgar"), Evan Rachel Wood ("The Ides of March") and Anton Yelchin ("Like Crazy") set to engage in a lively discussion on life in the industry and being thrust into awards competition with The Times' Amy Kaufman. The event is open to the public and will be held on Friday, November 4 at 6:45pm at the Chinese 6 Theatre in Hollywood as part of AFI FEST 2011, presented by Audi. Tickets will available soon through AFI FEST.

Multimedia coverage of all events will be available at www.theenvelope.com and www.latimes.com/entertainment, including exclusive stories, video and photos. With its first print edition of the season on November 10 The Envelope will unveil new features and tools for handicapping the awards races. Complementing its insightful editorial perspective, iconic covers, and curated feeds from Company Town, 24 Frames, Pop & Hiss, Ministry of Gossip and Show Tracker, will be:
