Los Angeles Times Media Group Names EVP, Advertising

<center><i> Michael J. Tannourji to Lead Revenue Team with Focus on Long-Term Planning, Multi-Channel Revenue and Digital Strategy </center></i>

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Times Media Group (LATMG) today announced it has appointed Michael J. Tannourji as Executive Vice President, Advertising, reporting to President and COO, Kathy Thomson. He will be joining LATMG to lead the company's sales force with responsibility for creating strategic plans that identify new sources of local and national revenue. In addition, Tannourji will develop and realign resources to support the LATMG's evolving portfolio, including the flagship Los Angeles Times, which currently reaches almost 40% of the Southern California marketplace. He is also responsible for the monetization of breakthrough and innovative digital and mobile products.

"He brings exceptional leadership qualities to the Los Angeles Times Media Group, as well as the experience necessary to drive the cultural shifts that are imperative to our future growth."

Tannourji has more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in the services/technology space. He has spent his career working with clients across all industry sectors, including Fortune 500 organizations and small and medium enterprises. Most recently having served as Director, Business Development, Ernst & Young, he played a key role in establishing a sales strategy and culture for their Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, he led the sales and marketing division of Onvia Inc., a publicly held information technology company based in Seattle. Tannourji has also held senior leadership roles at Experian Business Information Services and Dun & Bradstreet in Los Angeles and Atlanta. He is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and The Paul Merage School of Business at University of California, Irvine.
