9-year-old girl accidentally shoots firing range manager in head
A 9-year-old girl accidentally shot the manager of an Arizona shooting range in the head Monday morning, police said.
The shooting occurred about 10 a.m. at the manager’s range in Dolan Springs, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.
The 39-year-old man who was shot was airlifted to a hospital in Las Vegas, the spokeswoman said.
The girl was with her parents at the range. The family was passing through the area while on vacation, the spokeswoman said.
The condition of the victim was not released and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
