Lanisha Watsord scored the tying goal in the 70th minute and Melina Barragon scored the winning goal off of an assist by Stephanie Dickson in the 85th minute for host Van Nuys (1-1). Emily Leshon scored in the 35th minute for Duarte (1-1). Annie Nguyen made eight saves for Van Nuys, which outshot Duarte 21-11.
