Senior outside hitter Natalie Dittrich had a number of her team-leading 20 kills in a fourth-game rally and El Toro (2-1) capitalized on the momentum to defeat Peninsula (1-1) at home. Peninsula led 18-14 in the fourth game before El Toro scored the final 11 points. El Toro was also led by sophomore middle blocker Ashton Basch, who had six solo blocks, and junior middle blocker Jackie Albright, who added 13 kills and four blocks. Nikki Jagd led Peninsula with 13 kills.
