Nick Young can laugh about it now.

About five months ago, a video secretly recorded by Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell featuring Young discussing women other than then-fiance Iggy Azalea somehow became public.

At a Lakers news conference days later, Russell took reporters’ questions for five minutes, saying that he felt sickened by what happened and had apologized to Young.

Young took no questions at the time.

“I think it’s best that me and D’Angelo handle the situation we have in a private manner outside the media,” he said. “I think it’s something we really do need to sit down and talk about. That’s about it. What happened is what happened. We’ve got to work on it.”

Young told the Daily News that he and his second-year teammate have been doing just that — and they’ve been making progress in mending their relationship.

“We’ll be able to work it out,” said Young, who is no longer in a relationship with Azalea. “We’ve already been working it out. It is what it is. I can’t be mad forever.”

He also said that the whole situation is “kind of old” at this point.

It didn’t seem that way in June, when Russell seemed to make light of the situation in a Foot Locker commercial. Young tweeted in apparent sarcasm, “real funny.”

But he did joke about the ad Sunday night.

“I need my commercial now,” Young said, laughing. “I’ll explain what happened to my life.”
