Grizzly bear study: In the July 12 California section, an article about calls to reintroduce grizzly bears into California said that the Center for Biological Diversity had filed a petition with the California Fish and Game Commission to conduct a feasibility study on grizzly reintroduction. The group is gathering signatures and has not yet filed the petition.

Healthcare costs: A column in the July 12 Business section attributed data on healthcare costs for older Americans to the Health Care Cost Institute. The information was from a study sponsored by the Society of Actuaries that was posted on the institute’s website.
