Truck carrying 4,000 pounds of fruit overturns, spills cargo on East L.A. interchange
A big rig loaded with 4,000 pounds of fruit overturned Monday, spilling the fruit on the transition from the 5 Freeway to the 10 Freeway in Boyle Heights.
The accident was reported at 2:10 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported, and traffic was backed up in the area.
