Earthquake: Magnitude 3.3 quake strikes near Paso Robles
A shallow magnitude 3.3 earthquake was reported Sunday afternoon 10 miles southwest of Paso Robles in San Luis Obispo County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 2:28 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 3.1 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 12 miles northwest of Atascadero and 14 miles north of Morro Bay.
In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
