Search on for missing pregnant woman at Joshua Tree National Park

Search and rescue crews keep scouring Joshua Tree National Park for pregnant Erin Corwin, 19, who was reported missing June 29 by her husband.

A massive search was underway Wednesday at Joshua Tree National Park for a 19-year-old pregnant woman, who disappeared four days ago after leaving her Twentynine Palms home.

Authorities found Erin Corwin's Toyota Corolla in Twentynine Palms on Wednesday, said San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department officials.

Corwin, who is three months pregnant, was last seen leaving her home about 7 a.m. Saturday, apparently headed to Joshua Tree National Park.

Sheriff's air and ground crews began searching for Corwin after her husband reported her missing Sunday. Crews have focused their search at the park and surrounding areas.

Homicide detectives are also investigating her disappearance.

Corwin is 5 feet 2 and 120 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Corwin is asked to call the sheriff's Specialized Investigation Division at (909) 387-3589 or sheriff's dispatch at (909) 387-8313.
