Santa Ana homicide detectives investigate death of 2-year-old boy
Santa Ana homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy after police responding to a 911 call early Saturday found him not breathing.
Officers received the emergency call about 1:45 a.m. in the 2500 block of South Linday Way, police said. The toddler was pronounced dead at the scene.
“If a 2-year-old is not breathing in the middle of the night, we’re going to take a look into it,” Cmdr. Jason Viramontes said.
He declined to provide any further details.
