Officials were trying to determine if two vehicle fires near South Los Angeles on Thursday morning were related.
The two cars that were discovered engulfed in flames were near South Western Avenue and West 60th Street in Chesterfield Square, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Scott Blackman told KTLA-TV.
Witnesses saw two males leaving the area around 1:30 a.m., Blackman said.
Another fire was reported nearby, but it was not immediately clear what was damaged. No injuries were reported.
