Boy dies in crash of all-terrain vehicle

A 12-year-old boy died Sunday morning when the all-terrain vehicle he was driving crashed in a rural part of Riverside County near Temecula, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The boy, whose name was not released, crashed on a dirt road about 11:45 a.m. and died shortly after paramedics arrived, a CHP dispatcher said.
