Deaths of 2 Soldiers Bring U.S. Toll to 134
The Pentagon announced the deaths of two servicemen from the Iraq war, bringing the U.S. death toll to 134. Army Sgt. Troy Jenkins, 25, of Ridgecrest, Calif., who was wounded by an explosion, died of his injuries at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.
Army Spc. Roy Buckley, 24, of Portage, Ind., had been found seriously injured alongside a road and later died. He had climbed from the passenger compartment of a truck into its trailer.
