Two unrelated shootings over the weekend in Inglewood and the Lynwood area left three people wounded, authorities said.

Sgt. Juan Ferreia of the Inglewood Police Department said a red car stopped in front of a residence in the 3600 block of West 109th Street shortly after midnight, and a passenger got out and began shooting into a crowd gathered for a party.

One person was wounded in the forearm, and another was shot in the back, Ferreia said. Both victims were taken to a hospital in stable condition, he said.
