To the editor: Now the wheels have come off the clown car. (“GOP-led House votes to sue Obama in first-of-its-kind lawsuit,” July 30)

This do-nothing Republican House voted Wednesday to sue President Obama. With all the problems facing this country, the House wastes the taxpayer’s time and money on a political stunt to cater to the right-wing fringe.

Let the voters in November remove the Republicans from office, because they have insulted a president, defied the American people and abdicated their duty as elected officials. Americans deserve better.

To the editor: I am embarrassed to admit that I was ever a staunch Republican. Who are these people?

The House no longer represents me or millions of my fellow Americans. How dare they make a laughingstock of this great nation by clearing the way for a lawsuit against Obama? Why are they so angry?

We have serious needs in our country that could be solved if only the people who have been elected would get down to the business instead of sitting around figuring out how next to make fools of themselves.

To the editor: After voting dozens of times to repeal the Affordable Care Act, House Republicans are now planning to sue Obama for allowing some companies to delay providing health insurance.

Does any of them not see the hypocrisy? Does the public not see the hypocrisy?
