A 29-year-old man died after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a concrete wall in Huntington Beach on Sunday morning, according to police.

Police said they received a call about the wreck at 10:53 a.m. and responded to the intersection of Warner Avenue and Brightwater Drive, where they found the man unconscious on the sidewalk.

Paramedics arrived, but the man was declared dead at the scene, authorities said.

The Orange County coroner’s office identified him as Clifford Cody of Garden Grove.

Police are investigating but said they believe Cody was riding east on Warner before he lost control, hit the ground and slammed into the wall.
