New Orleans 99, at New Jersey 96: David West scored 32 points and Chris Paul made two key steals in the final minute to lead the Hornets to their fourth straight win. Vince Carter and Devin Harris each scored 26 points for the Nets.

at Phoenix 118, Lakers 111: The Suns shot 55.8% against the defensively deficient Lakers. Shaquille O’Neal, Matt Barnes and Leandro Barbosa combined for 81 points on 29-for-47 shooting.
