Share

The CIF Federated Council gave final approval on Friday to new practice rules that will limit all high school sports teams to no more than 18 hours of practice in a week and no more than four hours in a single day.

The rules takes effect with the new school year this fall starting with football practice in August.

The Federated Council rejected a proposal that would have revised bylaw 600 and allowed athletes to play on travel teams at the same time as their high school team
