Update: North Carolina State has rotation questions after ace Carlos Rodon, who threw eight scoreless innings in an 8-1 victory over North Carolina on Sunday. The Wolfpack has mixed and matched in the No. 2 starting spot, with Ethan Ogburn, Logan Jernigan and Brad Stone the likeliest candidates to pitch Tuesday. North Carolina State’s bullpen has 31 of the team’s 50 victories. UCLA will go with Nick Vander Tuig, who threw 61/3 scoreless innings in the clinching 3-0 victory over Cal State Fullerton in an NCAA super-regional. North Carolina State shortstop Trea Turner is hitting .376 and has 28 stolen bases. UCLA outfielder Eric Filia is 12 for 23 in six postseason games.
