USC quarterback Cody Kessler’s odds of winning the Heisman Trophy next season are 12-1, according to Bovada.

Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott is the favorite at 6-1. Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott and Louisiana State running back Leonard Fournette are 7-1, and Texas Christian quarterback Trevone Boykin is 15-2.

Two USC quarterbacks have won the Heisman: Carson Palmer in 2002 and Matt Leinart in 2004.

In the coming season, Kessler will be working with a receiving corps that has lost Nelson Agholor and George Farmer, who declared for the NFL draft.

Sophomore JuJu Smith and junior Darreus Rogers are the top returning receivers.

Sophomore cornerback Adoree’ Jackson is expected to have a larger role as a receiver next season.
