John Elway thanks himself while talking about Denver Broncos’ season
Denver Broncos General Manager John Elway has two Super Bowl rings and is in the Hall of Fame, so if he accidentally thanks himself for working with the Broncos, odds are, most in Colorado will let it slide.
Well, that's exactly what happened Tuesday when Elway began his media conference to talk about the split with head coach John Fox and the possible future of aging quarterback Peyton Manning.
While a lot was written about what Elway said, it was his slip-up that made the rounds of social media.
Elway spent his entire career in Denver and is one of the most recognizable faces in the state. Even the popular cartoon "South Park" has made numerous mentions that if you are from Colorado, you love Elway.
