Lakers live discussion: A lot to talk about on opening day
The Lakers are finally ready to start their season. Hooray!
But Kobe Bryant might not be. Boooo!
That right there should be more than enough for The Times’ NBA editor, Barry Stavro, and Lakers blogger Eric Pincus to discuss during their Google+ hangout Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
But in addition to Bryant’s strained right foot, which is making him a game-time decision for Tuesday night’s season opener against the Dallas Mavericks, there’s plenty more to talk about when it comes to the Lakers.
After all, we’re talking an off-season that saw the additions of a pair of superstars in Dwight Howard and Steve Nash ... and maybe that 0-7 preseason might come up as well.
So excited about opening night you just can’t take it? Check back here eight hours before tipoff and you’ll be all set.
