LeSean McCoy was drafted in the second round, 53rd overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009. A year later Tim Tebow was drafted in the first round, 25th overall by the Denver Broncos.

But McCoy has gone on to become a star, leading the NFL in rushing last season, while Tebow couldn’t even find a team to play for in 2012.

Still, McCoy’s recent assessment of the former Heisman Trophy winner and two-time NCAA champion seemed a tad harsh.

“My son is 2,” McCoy told TMZ at LAX on Saturday night. “I’ll take my son over Tim Tebow.”

McCoy was responding to a question about the most talented player not on an NFL roster. The reporter offered Vince Young or Tim Tebow as possibilities. McCoy gave him a “What chu talkin’ ‘bout, Willis?” face and blurted out, “Tim Tebow?”

Getting back to the original question, the Eagles star acknowledged that Young might be a good choice before settling on former Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson.

And as far as his toddler with the apparently mad football skills, McCoy said he actually doesn’t want his son to play football but will leave that decision up to him.
