Before the start of Monday night's tilt between the Seahawks and Redskins, Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch was spotted by cameras wearing a mask during pre-game warmups that looked like something that Bane, the Batman villain, wore in the blockbuster film "The Dark Knight Rises."

Lynch was wearing a high-elevation training mask, which limits the intake of oxygen during workouts and can help with overall conditioning.

As pictures began making their way on to social media, it seemed most were confused, but had plenty of Bane quotes ready to go.

Lynch, known for his skills as well as his personality, often grabs social media attention with his actions.

Previously, a picture of Lynch's white Lamborghini was all over social media after someone shared a picture of the car parked next to a curb with velvet ropes around it, which Lynch reportedly placed there.
