While it remains to be seen if Bode Miller will return to racing, the U.S. ski team has certainly not counted him out.

On Thursday, officials included Miller’s name on a list of nominees for their 2015-16 roster. The nominations included other stars such as Lindsey Vonn and Ted Ligety.

Miller severed his right hamstring tendon in a crash during the world championships at Beaver Creek, Colo., in February. At 37 -- hardly young for an elite athlete -- he planned to make a decision about his future after surgery.
