USC football: Leonard Williams selected to All-America team
USC defensive end Leonard Williams was selected to the ESPN.com All-America team announced Monday.
Williams, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound sophomore from Daytona Beach, Fla., is second on the Trojans with 73 tackles, including 13 1/2 for loss.
Williams, a freshman All-American last season, has been productive despite a shoulder injury that could require postseason surgery.
He has six sacks, raising his career total to 14.
Williams and the Trojans are preparing for Saturday’s Las Vegas Bowl against Fresno State.
The Trojans resume practice Tuesday.
