Snoop Lion’s son says Lane Kiffin should’ve ‘been fired a while ago’

Rap artist Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dogg) recently got on the nerves of some USC fans when UCLA Coach Jim Mora tweeted a photo of the longtime Trojans fan wearing UCLA gloves.

So it shouldn’t come as a total shock Snoop Lion’s son doesn’t think too highly of former USC Coach Lane Kiffin. Cordell Broadus, a standout wide receiver at Diamond Bar High School who is currently being recruited by several Pac-12 programs, including USC, says Kiffin deserved to be fired.

“I feel that he should have been fired a while ago,” Broadus told 247Sports.com, “and USC is going to raise the bar now because the new coaching staff next year and I’m anxious to see what they are going to look like.”

Based upon his reaction, it appears Broadus is willing to consider USC as potential college destination now that Kiffin is gone. But do the Trojans still want him?

And perhaps more important, does Snoop Lion want his son representing for the Bruins now that he’s been featured on Mora’s Twitter feed?

Broadus has plenty of interest from universities outside Southern California, so don’t be too surprised if he lands at Nebraska or Louisiana State. Besides, with all the questions surrounding the immediate future of the USC football program, it would be a little surprising if he ended up playing for the Trojans.
