Kelly Corrigan is a third-generation reporter and second-generation Angeleno who was born and raised in Glendale. She studied literature and writing at Cal State University San Marcos and journalism at the University of Missouri. She has previously worked as a fact checker apprentice for National Geographic Traveler and was a media volunteer at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She covers education for the Glendale News-Press and Burbank Leader.
