Eric Worden, veteran local radio personality, leaves Bob-FM for The Tide

Eric Worden, veteran DJ and radio personality at Bob-FM, has left that station to take over as morning host for The Tide's south Hampton Roads broadcast. Worden, 52, worked his last shift at Bob-FM, also known as WNOB-FM (93.7), today. He is expected to start at Tide affiliate WXTG-FM (102.1) within the next couple of weeks, according to Tom Davis, president and general manager of Local Voice Media, parent company of Tide stations WTYD and WXTG.
