The West Hollywood home of Alex Hassilev of the ’60s group the Limeliters has sold for $1.9 million. Hassilev bought the house in 1965 for $44,500 and added a recording studio in 1976. Actress-singer Doris Day, singer-songwriter Carole King and actress Candice Bergen are among those of note who worked and recorded at the home during his ownership. The 7,742-square-foot property includes the main house, a detached guesthouse, fruit trees and a backyard fountain. There are more than 3,300 square feet of living space, skylights, a fireplace, three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
