Lenape Chamber Ensemble Series finale spans three centuries

Lenape Chamber Ensemble will present works that span three centuries Saturday in the final concert of its summer series at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown. An unusual Mozart sonata will be followed by a string trio by contemporary Swedish composer Tommie Haglund. Ending the program on a high emotional plane is a piano quintet by Cesar Franck. Like today's emerging rock stars, Mozart, at age 21, set out from his home in provincial Salzburg, Austria, in 1777 on what might be considered the 18th century version of a road tour.
