Patrick George Troughton, a British actor who portrayed a series of malevolent characters in films and on television and was one of several actors who portrayed the mysterious “Doctor Who” in the 1960s, died of a heart attack Saturday while in Columbus, Ga., to appear at a science fiction convention.
