A three-day film fete celebrating the work of special-effects pioneer Ray Harryhausen kicks off tonight at 7 at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (8949 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills) with screenings of the fully restored 1958 “7th Voyage of Sinbad” and the rarely screened “20 Million Miles to Earth.”
