The Professional Golfers' Assn. of America Championship helped CBS earn No. 1 network of the night status, according to Nielsen.
The tournament, which ran until 9 p.m. EST, had a rating of 2.4 in the key 18-to-49-year-old demographic. With roughly 11.6 million viewers, the live sports event won the night in the key demo and overall viewership.
However, due to the long-running tournament, "Unforgettable" and "Reckless" were preempted across all markets. "60 Minutes" began at 9 p.m. EST and "Big Brother" started at 10 p.m. EST.
Ratings for the CBS programs are likely to change when time zones are taken into account.
