Lawmakers seek legal aid for youths caught crossing Southwest border

Responding to the surge of young immigrants on the Southwest border, a group of Democratic lawmakers on Monday introduced legislation that would provide legal representation to unaccompanied minors caught illegally entering the country. "Some of the children who have come to this country may not have a valid legal basis to remain, but some will," said Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.).
