Adrian Gonzalez only Dodger to lead early All-Star voting

Adrian Gonzalez may seem reserved, but that hardly means he’s going unnoticed. In the first round of results for the National League All-Star team released Wednesday, Gonzalez easily leads all first basemen. Gonzalez is a four-time All-Star, but hasn’t earned the honor since 2011 with the Red Sox. Gonzalez has received 929,016 votes this far, almost doubling his current runner-up. The Cubs Anthony Rizzo has 489,255 votes. Gonzalez, who is among the N.L. leaders in most offensive categories, is the only Dodger to lead the voting at his position.
