Repair crews scrambled to dry out Angel Stadium on Friday after a pipe burst in the wee hours of the morning caused extensive water damage throughout the ballpark. The Angel Stadium team store was closed Friday, but spokesman Tim Mead said the team was hopeful the store would reopen Saturday. The Angels' next home game is Monday, and Mead said cleanup should be complete by then so fans will not be disrupted. "There should be no inconvenience," Mead said. Mead said an upper-level pipe burst at about 2 a.m. and sprayed water for about 15 to 20 minutes before it could be shut off.
