Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton has multiple facial fractures, dental damage and a cut that required stitches after he was hit by an 88-mph pitch from the Brewers' Mike Fiers in the fifth inning of a 4-2 loss to Milwaukee. Stanton, who leads the majors with 105 RBIs and has a National League-leading 37 home runs, is probably done for the season, Marlins Manager Mike Redmond said after the game. Stanton was on the ground motionless for several minutes as he was tended to by medical personnel and he was bleeding profusely.
