Infection sends Justin Turner to DL

Third baseman Justin Turner was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday, opening one of the spots on the Dodgers roster needed for the players who were acquired the previous day in a three-way trade with the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins. Starting pitchers Mike Bolsinger and Zach Lee were optioned to triple-A Oklahoma City. The moves allowed the Dodgers to add to their active roster the three pitchers they acquired from the Atlanta Braves: Alex Wood, Jim Johnson and Luis Avilan. The Dodgers are expected to make another move Saturday when Mat Latos joins the team. Latos was acquired from the Marlins.
