Skating pair proves Olympians can throw a baseball

An Olympic medal doesn't help much when it comes to throwing out the first pitch at a Major League Baseball game. Just ask Jordyn Wieber, who bounced her attempt at a Detroit Tigers game. Or basketball star Diana Taurasi, who threw an outside pitch to the screen at Chase Field in Arizona. Even the great Carl Lewis fared so poorly in his first two attempts at MLB parks that he ended up sprinting the ball across home plate before a Louisiana State game.
