The Lakers lost their sixth consecutive game, falling in New Orleans to the Pelicans, 96-80, on Wednesday night. After three competitive quarters, the Lakers slumped early in the fourth while Kobe Bryant, under Coach Byron Scott's 32-minute restriction, sat and watched the game slip away. Bryant finished the third quarter with a sore right shoulder, icing it while on the bench.  He returned to the court later in the fourth quarter. He scored 14 points and had six rebounds, two assists and four turnovers in 30 minutes but lef the court with a minute left and the Pelicans well out of the Lakers' reach.
