Some people will do anything for attention. During the Lions’ tilt Sunday against the Bills someone at Ford Field shined a laser pointer in the face of quarterback Kyle Orton and holder Colton Schmidt’s face, potentially causing kicker Dan Carpenter to miss a 50-yard field goal. Ultimately, the missed field goal didn’t matter to the Bills, who subsequently won, 17-14, on a 58-yarder by Carpenter, but the team filed a complaint with the NFL security after the game. "While Ford Field security was unable to identify anyone using a laser at today's game, any future occurrence will be dealt with accordingly," the Lions said in a release following the game....
