The Arizona Cardinals have opened talks on a contract extension with Carson Palmer.
Cardinals General Manager Steve Keim confirmed the team has been in discussion with Palmer's agent on a new deal.
"I won't get into specific points of the negotiations but we've had some dialogue with Dave Dunn," Keim said, according to the Arizona Republic. Keim said Palmer "has done a great job for us."
Palmer is in his second season with the Cardinals after being acquired in a trade with the Oakland Raiders in April 2013. His contract currently runs through the 2015 season, but voids if he is still on the roster...
