Blues trade T.J. Oshie to Capitals

The long-rumored trade of T.J. Oshie has happened. The Blues dealt the right winger to the Washington Capitals on Thursday in exchange for forward Troy Brouwer, goaltender Phoenix Copley and a third-round pick in 2016. "Making a trade of this magnitude is difficult for our organization," Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said. "We drafted T.J. years ago, he's been part of our group. It's difficult to say good-bye, but also we're excited to bring Troy into our group."
